The early bird catches the worm! This cheeky little fella
is a right little character and he was determined to follow
me around one day posing until I agreed to take his
photo.

This popular little bird is resident throughout the UK all
year round, but when springs bursts into colour he likes
to strut his stuff parading that colourful chest to impress
the ladies.

The birds popularity has built up in the UK over many
centuries with a legend dating back to the 16th century
claiming bad luck will be incurred by anyone harming a
robin.
